19" Server Cabinets

Server cabinets have a width of 600 or 800mm. To install server (or other applications) deeper, server cabinets require a larger depth than network cabinets - 900 or 1000mm, special even deeper. A more robust design of the server cabinets also ensures a higher load

To protect cabinets because of the large weight before overturning forward, they are equipped with an (optional) 100mm socket with integrated tilt protection. Mounting screws at the bottom to anchor the cabinet offer additional protection. To increase the heat in the cabinet, perforated doors and / or side walls can be used to improve the airflow in the cabinet.

19" Network Cabinets

Network cabinets are standardized for the inclusion of 19-inch components. 19 inches corresponds to a width of 482.6 mm. The IEC 297 standard is the international standard, in Germany, this corresponds to the DIN 41494

The classic network cabinet is 600 or 800mm wide and 600 or 800mm deep. Front (and rear) owns the network cabinet 19" profile rails for mounting 19" equipment. The amount of the intended devices is specified in rack units (U) - 1U = 44.45 mm
cabinet systems are usually used to 42U, which corresponds to a height of about 2m. The so-called "half-height" is 24U.

19" Wall Cabinets

Wall cabinets are usually needed for smaller distributions. The standard height of wall cabinets is 4U to 21U. The depth ranges from 400mm to 600mm.

19" Rack Frames

19" rack frame from 4 units are the ideal component for smaller network solutions for connecting 19" units and applications to accommodate properly. A sturdy metal frame is placed on scratch-resistant feet.
